We Like To Move It Moving Company

Being local San Diego Movers, We Like To Move It Moving has created an easy guideline to make your packing experience a good one.

Packing Tips

  1. USE SAME BRAND BOXES . It is important when you are moving to purchase your boxes from the same company. By using the same box brand for your moving service , it makes it easier for your movers to stack the truck. Having a better stack in the trick also allows more items to fit in your truck.
  2. BOX EVERYTHING. If your planning on hiring San Diego Movers just for moving services, make sure your items are all boxes up. Some items that are frequently not packed include lamps, printers, candles, and toys. Making sure all miscellaneous items are packed will guarantee a faster move.
  3. BOX PICTURES. Pictures of great value should be bubble wrapped and in certain situations have a custom box. Other pictures can be wrapped with a moving blanket.
  4. SIZE DOES MATTER. Determining what size box to use for your moving is important. A box should never be too heavy to carry. Small boxes should be used to packand move heavy items like books, DVDs, CDs, small kitchen appliances. Putting heavy items in larger boxes increases the chances for your belongings to fall through and possibly break. Medium boxes can be used for clothes, sheets and towels. Large boxes are ideal to move pots, pans, pillows, blankets and toys. Please do not fill large boxes with books or files, thank you from We Like To Move It Moving!
  5. FILL UP BOXES. Don’t worry about overfilling the box, make sure boxes are fill up properly to prevent them from being crushed.
  6. FILLERS . Make sure to keep hand towels socks and magazines handy. These items are the best to use when filling up a box. They provide cushion just as bubble wrap would.
This short list of pointers on how to pack, should get you started in the right direction! Your San Diego Movers, We Like To Move It Moving, are just a click away if you have any questions.
